About Me

Hello, I am Fatima;

I was born in 1985 and graduated from Marmara University School of Dentistry in 2007. The
same year I got accepted for the PhD programme in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics
in Marmara University. During my PhD, I went to Cardiff University, UK to conduct my studies.

I had been a research assistant, an assistant professor and an associate professor, and a professor respectively. I also gave undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in numerous congresses and universities including Tehran University of Medical Sciences. I am one of the few certified members of European Society of Endodontology and an active member of Asian-Pacific Endodontic Confederation.

Right now, I am the head of Endodontology Department of Istanbul Gelisim University, Faculty of Dentistry. I have my own practice since 2021. I am married and a mother of two.
